Delia McCartan

Personal Profile :

Delia McCartan graduated from Queens University Belfast in 1995. She spent her first year working in the North West before travelling to the other side of the world to work in Perth Dental Hospital and then an aboriginal clinic outside Brisbane. On her return home she worked in Belfast until 2002, when Delia moved to Newtownards and took over the practice.

Delia obtained her Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners in 2006, from the Royal College of Surgeons England. She has many years experience in general dentistry, including conscious sedation techniques for the nervous patient. Delia is also expanding her knowledge and experience of orthodontics by working in an orthodontic practice 1-2 days a week.

Delia is a member of the British Dental Association (BDA) and Society of the Advancement of Anesthetic in Dentistry (SAAD).

Delia is married with two children, who keep her on her toes. Morning swims and lunchtime runs around the duck pond are regular occurrences for Delia.
